fuel gauge
I wouldn't be to concerned if it doesn't work but. They are the most inaccurate fuel gauge I've ever encountered on any bike I've ever owned. Mine gets to 1/4 and then just goes to empty...lol. I go off the odometer when I need to fill her up.
[QUOTE=jarvid;1115245]I must be the odd one out, mine is extremely accurate, go figure...The best one I ever found Jarvid was on my 1997 GSX750F. It was so accurate I never had any dramas with running out of fuel. Cheers.
i always use the cutout/reserve method. when she starts sputtering and losing power i switch to the reserve and head for the nearest fuel station. don't forget to switch back to normal afterwards or the next time can be a long walk
Mine too, it is very predictable.
Sounds like if you fill up before 1/4 you are doing fine.LOL
