Not got one in mind - I had the idea when I was looking at steel exhausts - I was seeing end cans go for close to £200 yet I could of picked up a bike for £600 that had a full stainless system,
I thought why not buy the bike for the exhaust and sell the other bits off?

I Will keep my eye open for bikes on ebay over the winter

Maybe what we should do is start some sort of 'parts register' so we know who has what in their sheds. I, for example have a few bits from the 87/88 model, like an oil pump, a stator cover, a pair of chain adjusters, pair of F/footpegs (no rubbers)a windscreen from a 89-92 model, and a complete set of 93-96 clocks in good order. There's probably a bit more, but that's what springs to mind.
If it's viable, fine - but postage and payment should be UP FRONT - I've been burnt once already this year.....didn't even get my postage back - pity, made me a bit cynical....[X(]

I don't think that windscreen will fit mine, I'm thinking about a tinted one for my 94'.
Hard to see through and you can't see the dirt on the bike

Hi all, the company in the USA has already been mentioned, Airtech http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/...0001987-90.htm.
The spanish company is motorhead http://www.fairings.net/index.php?pa...CBR+1000+87-88This is a twin light conversion but I think they also supply the original replacement

Seems like a good honest buy, MarkR - If I was up that way, I'd def. have a bid.
