Default Fairings

Anyone seen a good looking street fairing for the 1000f? Want something fresh, modern, custom, to bring the bike up to date (and then some). Happy to do some fabrication. Don't want to pay the earth and needs to arrive here in the UK safe and sound. Looking for a tip from someone who has bought one, or knows someone who has...want to find a reliable source! Photo's or links appreciated.

Hi there , I am looking for the same thing , or someone who sells replacement original panels.
The only place I can find is from the states or spain & costs as much to ship them [:@].
Good luck and let me know if you come up trumps

If I see anything, I will let you know, only prob. is that our bikes are a bit different
The only spare pieces I have is a hand rail & some mirror bits.

I am keen on replacing my mirrors as the rubber boots never fit, even on the new aftermaket one I have (A$55, I think it cost me)
Can you get mirrors bracket extentions, then I can move the mirror a little forward and make the boot fit properly, maybe?

Actually, one of the posts I have meaning to get round to doing was...

I am considering buying a CBR1000f 90-91 with the intention of parting it out over winter.
Cash flow is quite tight for me (Single guy just bought a house - eeek!) and the intention would be to help fund keeping my bike rather than making a living out of it, and yes I would ship around the world at cost (Dont want to make money on postage)

Do you think it is viable ? IE would I get my money back?
