Exhaust and Windscreen

RE: Exhaust and Windscreen
Corrupt mind
I can recommend IXIL slip-ons. I bought two IXIL's last year in stainless steel with a silencer diameter of 118mm (thats a big one!)
There are removeble bafflers, and with them removed the sound is very deep. My bike came up 5 bhp after the change, and with a fatter power curve as well. they are not ekstremely ekspensive, and fit the bike well.
When it comes to screens, I also can recomend the vario touring from MRA,if yuo only want one screen with a lot of options.

RE: Exhaust and Windscreen
Sorry, but the bike is taken apart for the winter periode, and as we speak it's in the corner of the garage.
Here is two clips from youtube with IXIL's and the CBR sound is a bit like the one of the Z1000, just abit deeper, and not so metal like.

PS: The silencers comes with removable DB killers

I installed a GiVi shield and simpley love it. I don't know if it is still available. There was much discussion of exhaust in the forum. If you go with a system that is to open, you will need to rejet. TB slip-on installs in about 1/2 hour. There is no rejetting and it is not too loud. I think a duel setup would be to open. The one I have is only on sided and they supply the plug for the other side.

A few weeks ago I was looking at sites for windscreens and ran into a site that had this picture but they did not sell the windscreen or even give you the name... what they were selling were the side bags. I feel in love with how this screen looks, it has this very nice curve to accent the upper fairing and then the lip for redirecting airflow. I just looked back at this thread and took another look at yours. Is this the same screen as yours?

Corrupt, I'm not 100% certain, but thedesign of thewindscreen in your pic looks very similar to the Zero Gravity ST screenI have on my bike. My pic isn't that great...the upper lip on mine is slightly more curved than itappearsin this pic...similar to the one inyour pic.
