Default Exhaust system needed

Hi all.

i have a 1998 cbr1000f with a blown exhaust, I would like to replace the whole system preferably with original parts.

my search so far hasn’t been successful except for original parts from a company in Japan that I am not sure if it is trustworthy or not.

does anyone know of or have a full exhaust system for sale?

many thanks

Delkevic make complete systems. They used to sell the stainless steel downpipes separately once (I got a set many years ago), but not anymore.

Marving make replica mufflers (again, I've got a pair, and they're quite nice. Just a little spicier than stock).

These bikes are getting old and the options for replacement parts will inevitably diminish.

I have a Delkevic end can for my 600F2, I picked it up from their factory in Newcastle-Under-Lyme so that I could see through their range and select the one I wanted.

Very well-made, definitely louder than stock but equally definitely far quieter than the Micron can the bike came with.

A follow-up on Delkevic. Just noticed that we can still get the stainless steel header unit here in Australia:

...but it's not listed on Delkevic UK website!

Strange.

If you're going to keep your CBR for a while, these are great headers. Will never rust, fit like the standard headers and you can attach your mufflers of choice.

It's a shame that they're largely hidden from view behind the fairing. They do look quite good.
