RE: ever pulled your front tire up?
Hey Napalm - I'd check your tyres - I only spin mine in the wet and thats on a corner! I run a 180 on the rear - BT015 soft, always maintain 100% grip on take off. The Cane (and I have a 1991) will power up in first - standard gearing and in second if you rock your weight back. Other than that - it will go up always with a clutch.

I've only pulled the front up in a fit of rage. Didn't have to try too hard either. I run standard gearing on an 87. As far as rear breaking away..... I thought that I was a fairly sedate rider these days but on the rare occasion I get to go for a blast the rear tyre is all over the place. Lots of fun & still with a large margin for error.

I'd be worried re the integrity of the front forks - I'll give you some advice - the Cane front forks "are not stunt worthy" and may collapse with weight of bike and rider. Even landing mono's harshly over a period of time will wear away your fork seals, extended mono's will run your engine dry of oil - unless you extend the oil pick up....apart from all that - enjoy!
