Yeah, have double dipped mine accidentally power shifting into 2nd. Grabbed too much gas and clutch too fast and pulled up, then panicked and dropped back on the gas and then pumped again. Pulled the front wheel up both times. I'm running 16/45. Probably way too much gear, but fun.

Standard should be 17/41 or 17/42. Sprockets should have numbers on them, front is impossible to check without removing loads of stuff.....[X(]

I just got mine up without any hassles at all (And its been a while lol) - think I have standard gearing - will have to double check though as it happened a bit easily from what I have read here. Very happy with how stable she was up on the bak end though

whether on purpose or by accident, ever get the front tire off the ground on these 1000's? I was suprised with my 95'. kinda scary, weighs 987lbs. talk to me

Never have had my Front Wheel off the ground, back just spins in a small burnout.

Possibly, I need to adjust my Clutch Lever, don't know!

Always wonder if you could get the front tire up on these bikes. Thanks for doing all the testing.

Take it to 7000 in 2nd then roll the throttle right off fast then flat out and pull back. Be aware it canlift fast and high. When lowering from a power stand try bring it down on the throttle tosmooth the ride.

seeing that i started the thread.... never really got the front tire on my bike up until, a few days ago was giong uphill when i got to the crest of the hill, was rather high on the rpms and shifted into 3rd and the bike came right up. surprised me but i was a brave little camper and rode it till it came down on its own, but HOLY CRAP, i was impressed, seems like an awful long bike, especially when it lifts and your not expecting it. paying plenty of attention now lol. thats all ive got to say about that

Came up once by accident when I dragged a mate off the lights, came up about 30cm off the road, I'm like cool! As I was still accelerating it came down very gently, mate reckoned it was up for a good 5 seconds
The bike does have a very heavy front end tho... Compared to a R1 I rode last week which comes up when you DON'T want it to...
