Download here from sourceforge (the main downloading site can be a bit off putting)
Disregard sourceforge advertising pop up pages
For your consideration,Avidemux ,it's free, simple to use. It has mutli format
input and outputs & there's a forum for users who need questions answered.
Wiki has great pages on it's use too
I use it because it runs on MAC and Linux .......not just windows !

Dylan if you saw some of the crVp I've recorded in the past couple of days you would know EXACTLY why I need an edit - I'm setting up my helmetcam (which finally arrived, and on which I had to pay import duty AGAIN) - no point in arguing even though the box said it was a replacement) The problem is aiming the damn thing when it's off to the side of your head (with a black screen fitting it on the bike won't help much) so I've been playing with angles and settings, etc etc. Maybe I'll come up with something in about 5 years.........half-decent.................

Windows Movie Maker is about the easiest to use Pete ... and I tried quite a few others mate just learn to use it fully ....
The WMV files that it creates load straight up onto Utube no probs and they are way smaller files than the AVI ones anyway ... so they upload quicker ..
Quality is a little less with them , but hey ...as you have found out this cam thing aint the easiest , so who gives a chit if the quality is a little less ...LOL
morning all ..........

If only you ran a mac.... The best and simplest applications are in the operating system. My former partner was a video editor and used to swear by Final cut Pro but that's not a simple programme.
iMovie on the other hand is great.
Sorry but I'm clueless in the PC world of applications and hope I always will be. Like Trout, if I turn one on I get infuriated in minutes.
One day you'll come to learn the joy of a machine that doesn't need virus protection and really does what it says it will right out the box. Oops, chlché alert!
