Default Dont like the kickstand

4th try to post so short incomplete sentence by now.

any ideas to modify my kickstand? leans too far. also pushes through asphalt.

doesnt appear to be damaged, just leans too far.
other problem is the weight it exerts

If it leans more than this, it's bent.

Check all the bolts are in the bracket as my bottom one had dissapeared letting the bracket flex and that the bit of the stand that attaches to the bike hasn't opened up allowing too much movement on the pivot just done mine.

I think mine is leaning farther than yours Shadow 1. It leans so far, this morning it was pitch dark and i thought i had the stand down, but didnt. I couldnt stop the beast but i did break her fall. gently set her down at the expense of my back. i was able to pick her back up by yself though.

ok, lost the last reply, so short again.

I broke the news to my buddy when i got to work this morning that he doesnt stand a chance of picking up his 700lb cruiser by himself if it falls.
