Flying Pig, wrong picture.

The Corbin is wider and I don't think there is much you can do. I guess that's the tradeoff.

Sorry, fixed the pic, it was WAY to big I guess. There has to be a method of building this **** out to flush with the seat. I am sure there is no aftermarket "kit" per se, but there has to be hundreds of these seats out there with the same problem. Someone must have fixed it.

The petcock on my Valkyrie has a very long stem which brings the **** out about 4 inches from where the square hole attaches. We need to figure out some way to bring the **** 1-2 inches closer to the hole in the seat or find a petcock **** from another bike that would work.

I agree... a metal shaft the correct length that will fit onto the petock where the factory **** (dial?) currently attaches, with a male end the same shape again that will fit into the ****. Similar to a socket wrench extension. Seems like a really simple part that could likely be fabricated quite easily. I spent time digging through my toolbox and trying different things to no avail.

What about a long fully-threaded screw with a nut holding it tight at the petcock and another nut at the ****? think this would provide enough strength?

I think I got it - a longer screw with enough washers including one lock washer to bring it flush with the seat. Screwed down tight I think it would work.

I can't picture it...what secures it on either end?

It didnt work - I couldnt screw it down hard enough to hold the pressure of turning the petcock more than a couple times. Next idea?

I think we're back to fabricating or finding a part off another bike that will work.
