Ya know, it does make you wonder about the story behind the bike, though.
Since it's a 1000F, the guy can't be too bad, right?

As soon as I get this bike I can put my sticker "My other ride is a CBR" on my truck! Also planning on getting the Honda sign put on the back of my helmet.

How the hell do you loose a 23 year old bike in a divorce? What kind of appraisal was done on it? He must have showed up at the divorce hearing totally plowed.

What would be really funny is if he told her it's worth a bunch of money.

no, his lawyer sucked. he kept his retirement and his bmw. That's about it. She got the house in a nice part of town, the lake house, bike, firearms, cash in bank account was split, and she kept her Lexus... I'm guessing there was something she knew that he didn't want made public. Who knows, maybe she caught him with a man?

So I spoke with the lady today. She said she wants $1500 for it. She said "I've been doing research and they are all going for $1500. It won't start but that shouldn't be that big of a deal." My response was "It's a bike that's 23 years old and doesn't run. I will give you scrap value for it. It IS a big deal." I know it's not my bike, but I'm kind of offended by her.
