Cheap stuff
I cant believe how cheap bikes are overseas..just so you get the idea,I bought my bike for 48000 shekels{equivialnt to 13500$ or 6000 pounds},1995 model with Krauser luggage...I can only imagine what I could get for that money elsewhere...
A new Blackbird over here would be 130.000 shekels{just over 36.000 us dollars or just over 16.200 pounds}..
Blimey..

Im South African originally but live in Israel..we have 200% tax on everything here and automobiles are sooooo expensive{including bikes}....its ridiculous paying that money for a bike, but someone has pay for the security in this country, and it falls on the small people mostly..but it is an amazing country with amazing scenary and roads ranging from lush hills to desert in a matter of a couple of hours..we ride every weekend..

Over here in Australia, you would pay $5000 for a good later model CBR1000F, have seen some early ones for $3000
Second hand Birds start from $7k, 10k for a good one, I don't think you can buy a new one anymore.
A new CBR1000RR Blade is about $18K new.
Insurance is cheap here, I believe. I'm paying $238 a year for full coverage
Rego is $196 for 6 months (Queensland)
A set of 2 tyres would cost about $500
Petrol is at about $1.36/L (just under $25 to fill the main tank)
