I sometimes use Crisco. After a hard run, it smells like a cake baking... mmmmm...
Just keep a tub of it in my garage. It doubles as a personal lubricant, too, which is nice.
According to wiki (under "non-cooking" uses):
--As a lubricant, whether for sexual activities (gay and straight) or otherwise.

I use it for "otherwise"

WAY TOO MUCH INFO!! I should have known better than to ask. I should have just asked "what do you guys use on your chains", but then I would have had to specify what kind of chain or things would have gone in a whole other direction after a few posts. .

Anyway..new back tyre, warm day, early knock off, healed (near enough) hand...I think the long way home is in order. Hopefully my wife will pick up the beers!
