Default Chain Guard 1987-88 Hurrican

So... after passing inspection on this bike last year (having just bought it in November), I go to get it inspected this year and get told No Way because I lack a chain guard. I went looking on Bike Bandit for it and I couldn't find it listed. The only thing I saw remotely like it was a piece that was part and parcel with the rear fender (which I also lack). Can anyone link me to a part that I'm looking for, or even provide a pick? I need to get this ASAP as inspection has to be done by the end of May here in Mass. Thanks in advance!!!

I found a salvage yard that has the chain guard + hugger version. The microfiche you're showing is from the 1990 I believe. I was wondering if there's any way that would fit. I guess the real question is ... Can I install the hugger + chain guard version without removing the seat and rear plastics etc. ?? I'd really like a simple solution. I'm tempted to tak a dremmel and trim off the hugger from the chain guard, as long as the plastic is stiff enough to hold itself upright.... Thoughts? Thanks again.

Looks to me as though the later Guard which is a 96 btw, would fit on the same mounts as the early huggar, Don't know for sure though?

I had no trouble getting my hugger out without removing anything else.. and if you feel like it, sure, dremel it out
