That's a great find Dean0.
So it was from the original 600F - mark 1 ?
If so, I'll hunt one up.
Thanks !

Not sure what model you would call it - in the uk it was the cbr600F3 - the last one with the steel swingarm.

The steel swingarm looks identical to the cbr1000f and the CBR600F3 was fitted with a 180 rear wheel so no clearance issues.

as in pic below

That looks like the one that was used - i still have the same one sat in the garage.

Still looking for the writeup i saw on how to do it.

Guess when hugger is placed on the swingarm - all will become clear.

If thatsd the case please find the artical with the how too in and post it Deano cos when I did the rear wheel conversion I had to leave of the hugger on my 88. What I did do was cut the chain guard out of it and put it on the bike. It works but if that hugger fits well I would go for it or 1 of the after market versions that are available on flebay.

Dont get your hopes up Shadow the huggers on ebay are after market 600's not 1000f 's.
They do look better than the standard 1 though and if they fit, they wood look killer on ours, specialy if you removed the tail guard section. Find that artical Deano!!!!!!!!!!! It would be good to do before I do that respray.
