hi does anyone know if the shocker off any other models fits the older cbr1000f ,wouldnt mind a slight rise in ride height ? mine feels a bit mushy , how far can you turn preload up ? does it just stop turning ? dont want to break it !!! thanks lee

 

Just turn it to the stop and see if you like it

The preload can be set Very hard, at themaximum preload it will kick butt and the bike will be dangerous to drive on bumpy roads and in curves in case you are not real heavy.

 

 

Damn good looking bike ! Is it a Laser exhaust, the nice fat middle pipe looks like the one i had but the muffler looks better than the Laser I had.

I guess you are asking Lee even though you replied to my post. I'll ride solo until some high breastedblond wants to be on back, then I may change :-)

 

still a bit mushy on the rear shock , just wondered , if there worth havin rebuilt (£85) on ebay plus post or another model fits? ie fireblade/blackbird etc otherwise it looks like a aftermarket shock
