Ear plugs? , or ride faster and the wind noise will knock the rattling on the head for sure ...
Does the engine still rattle at speed or under load ?
Remember , if you do the swap out of the chain , do the tensioner too or visa versa ....
....but what ever you do , it will not last for long as the rattle quite often returns after a rather short amount of road time ...

another quote; anyone know where i can actually get a tensioner in the uk, as all i can find is the chain, the guy i bought the bike from, well swapped it for my ZXR, said the chain was replaced recently however wasnt sure on the tensioner, i phoned my local honda dealer and he didnt have a clue, (CBR1000f-m).
im going to upload some pics on the weekend because i think its quite impressive, its immaculate and im still trying to work out why somebody would want to swap a zxr750j for a beast like the CBR....not that im complaining i looooooooove it!

David Silver Spares - Honda CB1000FP SUPER FOUR 1993 Cam chain tensioner bracket
If you read up the posts - the tensioner can be re-engineered, see "how to" section. Much cheaper and more effective.

I replaced my CCT @ 75,000km & approx. 5,000km later noise was back again, I've now done 90,000+ km & noise is no worse + she runs like a tropper.
fwiw, If the rattle goes away once warmed up it's o.k..... I've accepted this as part of my bikes character =:-)
