CBR 1000 F colour info
Hi Guys,
A quick hello from Hungary.
Just purchased my childhood's dream bike - a '91 1000F. This was my fav bike 20 years ago. Got it from Germany with 38K kms on the clock, in beautiful condition.
However, my dream colour was the 89-90 white/red scheme so I will convert her.
If somebody knows the paint codes pls. share them.
Also I am looking for an OEM muffler assy. I you have one laying around drop me a note.
thnx,
t.

Thanks a million.
It only lists the white paint. Your bike in your signature is exactly the colour I want. Could you check the paint code under your seat?
They list lots of Honda colour on this page:
http://www.japartsnl.com/Eng/Motorverf/honda.php5
and I need the exact match.
Thnx,

thank you for the quick response. i am considering painting my bike a whole diffrent color. i saw a picture of a newer 1000rr that is black and red i think will look good. i have been having trouble finding the correct colors for the red and white on my bike now and the orginal paint is faded. i only have one fairing on the right side that doesnt match the rest of the bike and it is hard to find the right colors to match the whole bike in my area.

No probs
Be careful picking the paint design...
There old girls I think look way better is a stock 1000F Honda paint job
(which there are a heap of available as you would know)...
Quite a few of them are red black and white combos
I have seen a few guys try to update to later model color schemes and I recon the 1000F looses something when done like the later ones ....but hey, I know its your choice ...
good luck ...

But i can't find my receipt for the red paint i bought.
I think it was R-157 Italian Red - but not completely sure
