Check the part numbers for the different years. Will probably fit but check it.
Push down on the rear of the seat while turning the key all the way to the right. You should hear a click. Move the seat up and back - it's fiddly, but you'll get used to it.

Should just be able to turn the key lock all the way to the left (anti clockwise) and release the catch holding the bugger down ..
You may have a sticky catch ...it may need a bit of riggling to budge it..
As far as I know both cables are interchangable ...
Throw a pic (if you have one) of your bargain buy :-)

When starting it make sure your fuel is ON andthe fuel pump unit is working. After sitting for a long time they dont want to work so good. You may need to tap on it to get it clicking. Mine had set for a year. New battery, starter fluid, fresh gas and a couple taps (screwdriver handle)to the fuel pump.
