Still learning about the different year engines, but chances are they didn't change. Happy to be corrected :icon_fryingpan:

Now, for the more important question Woof,

How did you break it?

Cheers (well sort of), SB

Seb,

It was an innocent enough move.

I parked on the sidewalk in front of a store and upon leaving, hopped down a curb, bottomed out on one of the fins that protect the header pipes. I really had no idea that my entire crankcase was draining out in front of my rear wheel until I leaned over and dropped the clutch. I was on the ground in the blink of an eye. A little fairing rash i can live with, but the bike is dead in the water until I find another oil pan.

I know an'88 will fit

Glad youre ok. Hope you find another pan.

Bummer Woof, but as stated in the mail above, glad you didnt hurt yourself.

Good luck with the hunt for the pan.

Cheers, SB

I would look on flebay and find someone parting out there's and send them a message. Wouldn't hurt to ask. Also how bad is it. could it be welded back

wooferdog 07-03-2012 08:07 PM

It's not bad ad the only current pan on ebay has the same repair. I'm leery though, If the repair is not sound and fails. It's sure disaster. I was lucky I was only in a parking lot.

Tough part about this search is it's a discontinued part. I've only found one new one for $112.00, IF, it's in stock. Anything used, I want unmolested if possible

If a 95 will fit I'm your man. If you want it pm me your address and you can owe me a beer next time you're in NJ
