Default Blackmobile Finally done!!! Carb trouble :-(

Im having some carb trouble. I just put new carbs in and sync'd them within 1. The bike revs fine but has half the power than before. The choke is tight but it seems to operate. The bike starts right up. I also get alot of poping and backfiring when slowing down. I still have to check the wires and plugs. I'm gonna attempt to put up some pics.

If you are getting poping & backfiring you are either running very lean or have a vacuum leak somewhere

Could it be advanced timing... the spark igniting before the cylinder is ready?

I think these are stock parts with no boots.

Yes, the are the stock mirrors minus the rubber. The paint wouldn't stick to the rubber while I installed them so I cut them off. I was hesitant at first but now I'm glad I did. When I see other riders on the streets they look and ask what is that? And as for the carb trouble... I will need a jet kit cause I removed my K&N filter and reinstalled my old one and now it runs Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!

No, just an old paper filter I picked up in a box of old parts for the bike. It originally had a different set of carbs and the k&n filter -but I put new carbs in cause i got them for 40 bucks! but I didn't put the jets from the original carbs back in the new carbs. I will do this soon.
