The Bird is sold
...and the Suzuki will also be sold. One bike is enough to feedand I have learned from the CBR 1000 F and Bird that a sport tourer is the ultimate bike for me. New bike is the butt-ugly Haybusa 2008.A strong performer in all aspects, except for the apperance of the rear [:@]. I may get used to that, or replace it with some aftermarket piece.

Tell me what you think of the Haybusa,
My next bike will be most likely be a Bird or a Haybusa, can't decide.
It wont be the 08 Haybusa cause of $$$, the extra 50cc would be nice

The Haybusa is am awsome bike. It is very compact in desing and pulls like a freight train :-). It is also a verygood bike to corner with. I don't know how it will fit a large person though, I'm 175 cm and the Busa fits me like my own skin.
The Bird is outstanding for larger persons, and so is the CBR 1000F. I have loved my Birdduring two years but now chose a new bike to replace the two existing.
The ZZR 1400 (ZX14R) is probably a better bike of you are large, I've tried one and was VERY pleased with the performance and comfort.

Now I have tried to ride both of R1000's bikes: I rode the Bird a little bit some time ago, and today I rode the Suzuki for a few km. I think they are both absolutely fantastic bikes . Every bike has its strong and perhaps even weak points I guess. As for example the Hurricane has lots of positive characteristics, but riding slowly in tight corners is not among them. I gather the Hayabusa must mean something really special to R1000 since he choose to exchange his other bikes for it. I hope R1000 will come back to this forum often, as this forum with all the great guys/gurus in it, has meant a lot to me bikewise.
I can't praise this bike much enough
It fits me perfectly and is the optimal mix of a sport bike and a sport tourer for me. I give it 10/10, which is a bitconservative [&:]

Looks awesome! Will you bring it to GellerĂ¥sen, the race track, on Saturday?BTW, you said it was ugly in the back end and I can agree on that: it looks like a cardboard box!
