I had an early Chatterbox and found it to be rubbish. I believe the later ones were a bit of an improvement, but the very best units I've used are
Autocom and Starcom Advance
Good at any speed and very clear.

Got a new Autocom this season...and I love it! It went into the helmet great, fits fine and has great sound. Music is great, the phone I have used a little because my phone doesn't have auto pickup, and the bike-bike is wonderful. I'm using a Motorola GRMS as bike comms. I'm adding a press to talk switch because the VOX puts a little more delay in than I like. It's usable but annoying. I currently have all the electronics running on battery and stuck in a pocket in my tank bag. More later. Any questions?

The bmw sport touring site, "bike related things" forum probably has it all covered. A lot of these guys are techy's and I'm sure they have discussed it all to death. Not trying to promote another site...just helping a brother out. (I did not search other forums on this site.)
