Default Belly Pan

Hi
I am new to this site and hoping someone can help me.
I have a 1989 CBR1000f and are trying to track down a R/H side of the belly pan. Is there anyone out there in CBR land that has one for sale or can direct me to where I might be able to find one.
Alternately will a belly pan from either a 1998 or 1999 fit?

Cheers
Gazman

Hi there Gazman, welcome to the forum.

Fill in your 'User CP' top left on the forum task bar, telling us where you are on the planet will help us help you. Especially when it comes to sourcing parts!

By 'belly pan', am I correct in assuming you mean the large side fairing, which joins with the other side fairing under the bike?

Fairings from other years will fit your bike, but not 98/99. In fact the CBR1000f ceased production before that date, depending on country they continued to be sold long after production ceased, so you can see how it gets confusing when we don't know where you are

The fairings that fit your bike were manufactured and sold between 1989 and 1990 (for sure). Some of the very late 1988 fairings will fit and some of the very early 1991 fairings will fit, depending on where you live.

The best thing is if you can see a picture of the item, to confirm it is compatible.

Hope this helps.

Smile Belly pan

Ok, I have had a windfall of giant proportions.
I was chasing a belly pan for my CBR, I could get the L/H side but not the R/H side, even with a Worldwide search by Honda they had no luck at all. Well just by chance I have been able to find both sides at a little wreckers here in Perth and all for under $60.
Just got to get them painted now.
