Default Bars & stuff

Hi all hows it going? some quick Qs so on my 87 hurricane could some one tell me the handle bar diameter in mm please.
Also on the left brake calliper, is there a reason for the strange mounting set? ie not bolted with 2 bolts like the right side.
Tried finding out about it, parts list, list a piston on the bottom part attached to the fork!
Thanks in advance for any input.

Weeto.

The caliper mount is an anti dive system exclusive to 87 and 88 models

The bars should take standard non-cruiser grips- 7/8 inch I believe.

Ok thanks, I sorta thought it might have been for anti dive, but couldn't work out why it's only on one fork!
Also would I be right in saying 7/8 would be about 22mm, seen some nice black ones with red insert and they are 22mm and 24mm, would look very nice on the caine.
Thanks for ya input guys.

1" = 25.4 mm.

25.4 / 8 = 3.175.

7 x 3.175 = 22.225.

So yeah, 22mm would be the way to go.

Here endeth the lesson on imperial to metric conversions, unless Shadow wants to jump in with his conversion to Cape Feet.
