LOL! Its ok Sawnee,I like their sense of humorI find it somewhat entertaining. Hey Pete you sure you & Steve aren't married? You guys sure are acting like it. J/K! Thanksfor the heads up on the you can make pics bigger Pete. Now that I know that I will use it the next time around. Yeah, I hear ya on the hard to see thing. I found them still kinda hard to see aswell. I myself am not excately a spring chicken anymore either. In hindsite my mindstill feels like one tho but alas the body says nay! lol! Be comin up on 50years old sooner than I care to see. lol!Have many more pics of both bikes throughout the years. Also have some video (not d greastest) footage of both bikes. Mostly just some shake down runs to see what they got. I'll be hopefully adding that as well providing it is allowed in the next few days. The '88 Hurricane I painted myself back in 2001. I 've always liked flames & decided to try them out on ole blue. Not many older sportbikes around here with flames. so figured I'd give it a shot. Painted the bike a '96 Porsche Iris blue then put the flames on & clearcoated4 good coats of clear on top. Came back and color sanded most of the plastics and buffed it all out for a deep shine. Had that bike since way back in the summer of 1991 up until I sold to a friend about 9 months ago. Plus I still get the honor of an occasional drive by my work place and hear him rev it just to taunt me. lol! So thats when I decided to go out and buy my other buddies bike he had since new so I could return the favor. So in retrospect I brought 2 Hurricanesthat used ride with each other back again to ride together once more. Funny how karma works sometimes. It's all good!

BTW , Steve I agree with you on the which bike I like better. The '91 bodystyle I've always like even if it is a tad heavier. It feels so stable at higher speeds when I feel the need that is. Which is not so often these days but good to know its there if I need it.Both bikes have made some jumps before by the way. With good landing results. Tho I don't recommend going outand doing that particular move. lol! Gonna throw in a couple more pics of the old birds as well. Till next time guys take care.

This is what my older Hurricance was lookin like back when I redone it in 2001.Looks like a wrecked bike huh? lol! I even had it looking like a unicycle when I had the front forksand tripletree off. The bearings got replaced on pretty much everything. Figured since it was an old bird might as well freshing her up a bit. Did all the work myselfincludingoverhauling the original motor with the big bore kit which I kept upstairs in my place. lol! The fella I sold my bike to might have gotten my bike but I still havethe heart so to speak. That will be my standby motor for the newer bird. lol! Here are some more pics of ole blue.
