Default Australian MotoGP

Great to see Casey Stoner get up to win his home country MotoGP. Flawless ride from a dead set legend. Love the way these guys are pulling onto the main straight at 180km/h and smoking therear tyre.

Great also to see the new crop of riders. Check out the lovely Stacey McMahon in the 125cc class.

I think they have the right idea.
usually when you see women connected with motor sports competitors are more the exception than the rule.
what they are doing with her is pure marketing genius. when you want to attract attention to your sport, what
better way than to take a super hot model, teach her how to race, then turn her loose in 125 GP. I think the fact
that she is still serious about racing after breaking a collar bone is testament to her commitment. Who knows, in a few years
we may have a female Valentino Rossi on our hands.

Pics I took on Sunday.
What happens when Nicky Haydens Honda breaks down, marshalls put it on a trailer, start driving full speed back to pits only to get blocked by another vehicle causing the driver to stop, right by the spectator mound where Coopz and his semi drunken friends are standing...

Great race, watched it on sky. Had to laugh when the commentater was saying with reference to the crowd breaking down the fence to get to the winners enclosure that, "look at that crowd go, you'd think that they were offering free beer" lol But you have to giver Stoner credit, as he has been on form all season and has been putting Rossi out big time. Good that honda had a go and for once seemed to be keeping up. Maybe next season eh!
