around the track
My brother ran his 91 CBR 1000 at the track and it handled OK. He ran Metzler M1's although you likley can't get them for your bike.
Try the Dunlop GT 501's or the Pirelli Dragon (not sure of the Pirelli's actual name) but my dad ran the P's on his OLD school bike and they stick pretty good too. Both of those are Bias, which I assume you need.

I took my -92 on track earlier, best track day ever for me. https://cbrforum.com/m_132217/tm.htm
I´ve been on a track with my -97. I runned on Avon Azaro ST rear and Avon Viper sport in front. Here is a link to a thread about my track experience:https://cbrforum.com/m_124154/mpage_.../tm.htm#124154
QR has track days this Sunday and Monday i booked in Monday there will be less bikes . there is 3 session slowintermediate and fast ,3 in the morning and 4 after lunch. cost $125 for track and $50 for body bag. This is a hole new thing for me some thing you need to try.
Won't be able to make it on Monday. During this cold weather I've got the bike in bits, giving it a good overhaul, new tyre, new chainand tidying up a few things.
A Monday session sounds the go, a bit less congested while learning.

All loaded up for the big day tomorrow i think i have every thing except the kitchen sink in my van and trailer. The bike looks bear without the rack and mirrors.
It gets the blood going when you ride these heavy bikes at flat noise. The tyres don't look to good front and rear are riped off on both sides and the disks areblack. I didseven 20min runs through the daya totaldistance of 183k on the trip meter 30liters of fuel with a top speed 191k by GPS . All i can say is i cant weight to do it again. Every one should do a track day to find yours and the bikes capability's
