Anyone ever hear anything good about these exhaust systems
I am looking to replace the v&h header system on my bike and go back toa dual exhaust. I have been look in fleabay and found these Honda CBR1000F CBR1000 89-99 Header Exhaust Downpipes | eBay

yeah i am just looking for an exhaust system. i emailed v&h today to see if they sell just eh mid pipe and muffler for the ssr2 system. thats the header pipe on the bike right now but it has some crap can am spyder exhaust on it and it is cool and all but honestly i wnt something a little louder

Well I'm not exactly practicing what I 'm preachin' in this thread as you will notice
in another thread I'm going down the viper can route mostly because they are round
and in theory that means the oem Honda pipe covers can go back on the bike .

I recently fitted delkevic headers on my 97 1kf. The first set didn't fit so was sent a replacement at no cost. I did have a problem trying to get the original silencers to fit and seal correctly. Ended up having to drill the holes out on the hangers to get a little adjustment to allow fitting and then used some firegum exhaust paste, coke can and gaskets to get a good seal. Alls well now but hope i don't need to remove the pipes any time soon as it was a pain blocking up the leaks. The headers themselves are well made.
