Default Any help here?.....

My cbr KF was wrecked from fairings, and i change them for a cbr 1000 rr 04-05 fairings insted, they look nice, but there is an open space from the frame and the new plastics, i could do a fiber glass design,but can any body tell me the easy way to do the mold? any foam?, or what...? thanks!!![sm=helpout.gif]

You can try plastic welding, as this will keep it strong and you can reinforce it to the shape that you require. I used this type of repair on mine and it has worked well for me. Good luck and look forward to the end result.

this should be sweet! cant wait to see what it looks like. I have been toying with the idea of putting a new tail section on, but i dont know how it will look.

If you mean the uncovered frame parts with rear brake reservoir etc. under the saddle area and fuel tank, you may consider let it be open to keep the bike clean. You can perhaps arrange visible wirings and tubes there so the come in order and give a clean impression. You can also fabricate some black steel panels to discretly cover any areas which you feel must be hidden to get the desired apperance. You are doing a creative mod that seems to be something extra and nice. Looking forward to see more pictures. Are front and side fairing new track type chrash fairings (there seems to be no front light yet)?
