Hooray!!! She lives!!!!! well all in all it was just the spark plug wires were not connected correctly. So now I am charging the battery(hope I dont need a new one), new tires, lube the chain, sync the carbs, and valve adjust. And she'll be ready for spring. Well here are some pics of my new ride. She needs a bath and some touch up paint.

Cool, I am planning on getting one soon, but I need to figure out why the seat appears to be bent up wards in the front. ??? I also will not be able to work on it for the next 3-4 weeks as I will be in school at Ft. Drum NY. Oh well good time to save money for the bike!!!! I figure with basic maintenance and a new set of rubber I should be well under a grand on this bad boy!

From your first picture it looks to me as though the front of the seat isn't on properly. There are supposed to be a couple of tabs on the inside of the seat that you have to hook onto the tank. It's a pr!ck of a thing to do sometimes! I hold the left side in with my knee, the right side in with one hand and guide the back with my other hand. you've got to hold your face in just the right way too.
Maybe the tabs are missing from your seat?
You've scored a real bargain mate! If the motor's sweet you're laughing. With a bit of lovin' she'll come up a treat too.
