Good job Ken. I'm waiting on my Wilbers shock which should be here next week. Looking forward to getting it in and I'm still wondering if I'm going to re paint the swing arm or not. I only did it last year and its still ok. I've noticed when riding the bike my knees have started to ache a little. The rear shock is totally ****ed.

I bought the bike almost two months back , rode it home and in the shed since then ,,, was riding fine but , I just want to have it wright before she hits the road .... Like all things ... I just want it wright so I will know whats done and what will need doing in time .....

Done so far .

New Engine oil , oil and air filter ... would like to add K&N air filter later , and Hi flow oil filter , and Iradium plugs on the list

Front Left break pistons and seals replaced .

Tank removed , flushed as was Petrol **** , removed and cleaned ..in good order .

Coolant flush

Clutch and Break fluid flush

Radiator removed , sanded and repainted .. including the fan .

All joints on frame sanded , and repainted .. took the front fairing mount off the one holding the nose cone on , sand it and repainted .... like new

Replace exhaust ports seals ... and new downpipes ..

Replaced head stock bearing

Replaced Fork seals and fluids

Replaced Swing arm bearings

Wheels were previously power coated white as was the grab rail .

Side stand and Centre stand remvoed and painted .

Carbs stripped and scrubbed and like new .

Inlet and outlet valves adjusted .. took me a while but know how to do it now .. a little awkward on the back adjustments .

Front wheel bearings done and seals

Swing Arm power coated with Pivot bearing and bearings and seals replaced .. from Wemoto uk .

Have added a 12v power socket with separate fuse .

Have add a flip switch which will connect to some Nice Blue leds , which I have .

Connect a Smart Charger to keep the Battery in top condition

Have a nice set of Dual Viper cans , race type which came with the bike ,, need a good scrub .. but sound throaty ....no silencer in them as designed for race track .

Things to do

Carb balance ....

Replace rear wheel bearings and seals

Looking at Vfr Handlebar options currently , any info welcome . I have a post up on this at the moment .

This is how i got the bearings in .use the old one to get it in so far and then a correct fit socket .. all bearings went in easy . stuck them in the freezer for approx 4hrs . loads of Greese ... and in they went ... To get them out a long bar and hit for inside .. a couple of smacks out the came .. got the bearing kit from wemoto ..uk for 52 euro .
