Default 94cbr 1000f 5 speed
The guy i bought the bike from told me that it came from factory with just 5 gears ... i figured it was a mod....Anybody have an idea. And also can anybody give me an idea of how to put the orignal dual exhaust back on, currently have 4 into 1

Hey:

Then it is a 94-96 CB1000F not CBR, or someone swapped engines as all CBR1000Fs had 6 gears.
All CB1000Fs had 5 and is a great upgade in power to get a CBR1000F engine ( The CB1000F looks JUST like a 87-88 CBR1000F engine) and put it in a CB1000F plus you get 1 more gear. the downside of this swap is gettig a CBR1000F with low power and only 5 gears. post up a pic if you would.

Hey:

Also what 4:1 do you have? If it has a 3 bolt rear can on it it is from a CB1000F and is factory for them.

It actually does have six gears

He clearly lost the plot as he had to transfer the count from one hand to the other.
