Kinda of jumping in very quick....I want to install some grips on my colorina because of the numb thing with my hands, I have seen the foammy ones, but honestly they look like ****e, I wonder if there is something better looking but also capable of giving you the so called confort of the foam ones...gel probably?? any particular brand name??

Luis Mi compadre ! - wrap some masking tape around your bars - about 3-5 layers.
Fit standard grips over the top.......
This makes the bars a bit fatter and more comfortable !
Numb hands much reduced ! Cheaper too..............

 

Hey Louis. I use foam grips but not the big fat ugly ones. Most people don't even know that I have them on. I also put colored bar ends on which helps to distract the casual onlooker. I find I get most opposition from the bike shop, not other riders. They are easy to install too. Coat the inside of the grips & the bars with dish washing detergent. Add enough water to make it wet & slide them on. Next morning they are on for good. No glue
