Angry 1992 Rear brake caliper piston caps came loose.

Removed my rear brake pads last weekend and the caps on top of the pistons fell out (see picture) ! Can I just glue them back in? Thanks for any advice!

I've never seen that before. I'm not even sure what those are. They are not in the parts diagram from what I can see from this page. Are they OEM? It would naturally be easier to see things if you took it all apart and cleaned it.

Hi, thank you for your reaction.

They are OEM but they are not sold as separate parts. They are an integral part of the OEM brake pistons. If you look closely to the parts drawing of the pistons you will see the caps somehow. Another view of it in the image attached.
I already got feedback from another rider that it should be possible to glue them back with 2 component glue but any additional info is welcome of course.

Greetz!

OK, now I see, this photo helps. I have not seen pistons like this. All ones I've seen look like the image below and are hollow like cups. Given that that cap is not holding the brake fluid pressure sealed, I see no reason it could not be epoxied together. Whatever you use, make sure it can withstand the temperatures.
