Has anyone done custom fairing fits or custom body kits for 1990 hurricane 1000? Im curious how much work goes into custom fitting newer or aftermarket fairings to this bike. Anyone have experience? Ive seen some from street fighter conversions to newer cbr600 style.

I haven't done a moto fairing, but back in the 70's, I used fiberglass to repair my surf boards. It is not hard, but it can get messy and very highly toxic and smelly.
If you are good with tools, you can easily adapt and mount the fairings. It's a matter of patience. Measure twice and cut/drill once or take them to a body shop that knows fiberglass. Lots of filler, sanding, primer and paint. At least it's your custom creation.
