hi im new here. i just bought a 1990 cbr 1000f im looking for an ingition swith for my bike please help! i have looked everywhere. will one off a 87 88 model work? thanks Brandon

In looking at the parts manual, it appears that the 90 - 91 are the same, and the 87 - 88 are different from yours. Exactly how different I don't know. How much of the ignition switch do you need ? It comes in different portions. Look at some of the online microfiche to see how it's put together.

 

well im not to sure. i would like to just replace the entire switch. i have looked everywhere i cant find parts for this thing any ideas? thanks again

the part number for 94 model and a 90 model are different but that doesnt mean it wont work? im not sure what to do?
