Default 1988 CBR1000F Rear Disc & Windshield (Pics Uploaded)

Hi guys, just thought I'd ask the resident gurus about a rear disc for my '88 CBR. I've tried searching and so on but couldn't find anything which particularly answered my problem. I'm sure its been asked before but here goes...

What disc will fit my '88 CBR, and will this one work?

Ok... now thats out of the way I've also got something to help out. I recently ordered a windscreen for my '88 model and it arrived yesterday. To be honest it was a low-ball price and I didn't expect much, but it seems to be a nicely made bit of gear and I'd definitely recommend it to others. The eBay link to it is here:

Bolt Pattern looks right ........if it don't .....then the description is wrong and so you get
your money back through PayPal.

That screen is not too shabby either !

Thanks Sprock, I suspected as much. Just wanted to make sure!

The screen is a lot more impressive in real life, I'll have to get a photo of it up once I fit it to my bike.

!
Am I missing something? The description says it'll fit a '93 1000F, or third gen bikes, not an '88.

Good evening all:

For an 88: all front generations disks are fitting an 88, there is enough space in the caliper to fit the 5mm of the disk width.

Rear disk: i got a second gen on mine and fitted perfectly.

Have a good evening all!

Just thought I'd post some pictures of the new screen, as I had a spare moment to put it on this afternoon. Went on fairly easily, even though it didn't have the neat, sharp bends that original unit did. I'd say that for the price its brilliant.

Here is the old screen:

Not bad eh?
