Thumbs up

I know I have posted this before, but since this is a different thread.

This is on the right side since I am right handed. My fuse block is on the left side also. I ran the (+) wire to the fuse side and the (-) to the frame. Just another option, also it is 5 volts not 12.

The way Harry has his is almost exactly how I planned to do mine. I have a marine 12v socket kicking around here. (I got it at wally world when they clearanced the boating stuff for like $3)

I'm gonna have to do something for my GPS this spring....

That's a cool setup you've got there, though, Doug....

Funny Coincidence .........Just back from Pepboys ........yet .......again

Picked up an all weather 12 volt marine style one like you mentioned Dylan.
Reason I'm going with the regular 12volt socket and not just the usb socket is that
the usb - 12volt plug adapter is available everywhere and plan on using the new
iphone with it as a GPS / Phone / Tunes / net etc. etc. etc. + bluetooth head set
......also 12v socket will be handy for the little air compressor I got too.

I did a similar thing. It's that same waterproof marine 12V outlet I got at wally world for $3 last winter.
I wanted to be able to put it back to stock easily, so I intalled it through the right side radiator access panel. Basically because I know I can get a new one if I need to.
It's fused and runs right off the battery. Worked pretty good.
