Nope not the only one. I just joined the forum. I just started riding an 06 F4I a few months ago.

Naci en Cuernavaca, Mor. y vivo en Connecticut. Tu de q parte d mexico eres? Apenas empece a manejar una moto. La compre mayormente por que estaba varata, pero ahora no me separo de ella. Quiero manejarla todos los dias

Hi John,

Many U.S. insurance policies now stop coverage at the border & separate insurance has to be purchased for use in Mexico. Are you familiar w/ any of those type plans/coverages & prices?

 

Yes my friend, i've just ask about an insurance policy for my F4i cause i dont have insurance and they told me that the policy costs $891 US dllrs of course here is in $ pesos. Hope that helps!!!

Thx for the reply John. More specifically, these insurance coverages are more like temporary insurance policies. Ie., they are purchased for a specific date range (1 day, 3 day, etc) by travelers coming to Mexico from outside the country.

Without it, you have no coverage to reimburse you in the event of damage to or theft of your vehicle. Additionally, you and your vehicle can be detained in the event of an accident."

Mexbound, drivemex, & mexadventrue (all are dotcoms), are other options as well. Was just wondering if you knew who the most reputable of these types in Mexico & who you'd recommend.
