Good find there Shakey I have tried to have my stator rewired here but was told - "can't be done" - clearly your supplier CAN. A brand new stator is around $220 from Fast shipping. Up to 40% off Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Polaris OEM motorcycle parts and accessories. Deep reseller discounts. so this may be quite a saving depending on postal costs etc.

 

Hello guys!!!!! Just wanted to put my two cents worth of info... I looked around everywhere for a replacement for my 87 1k and came across this site called "50highwaycycle.com" and they have the refurbished stators for our bikes for $145+ shipping and the core unit with a 1yr warranty. Spoke to them today and where very helpful and all so I will be placing my order soon. Just thought it might help others looking for one and not having to order one from the uk or pay lots for a new unit... They're out in Missouri and their # is (816)566-0194
