Default Aussie sheepskin seat covers

G'day everyone, I'm looking for a sheepskin seat cover for the 1000F ('89 model) and hoping to get suggestions from people who have them. Who sells good ones? You happy with the quality and fit of yours? Melbourne area. Thanks for any suggestions.

Plasnart,
I have them on both my bikes and would never be without them. I've bought them off both of these stores over the years.

GOOD WOOL STORE

SHEEPY HOLLOW sheepskin Seat Covers for Motorcycles

Don't get the ones on Ebay. They are inferior quality. Either store above will suit what you need. Cheers.

G'day bordo thanks for the links mate. Wow prices are up there! $275 for a sheepy hollow!! Honestly that's gotta be overpriced. Good wool brand is $179 which is a bit more like it IMO. What brand do you have on your bike mate? I haven't bought a sheepskin bike cover for nearly 20 years (yes I hold onto my bikes!) and maybe I've lost touch with their cost.

whats their purpose, sheer comfort or do you like to stand stroking it just to let them know they are loved?

Haha not quite that kinky mate! Long distance comfort is what I'm after. Honestly I didn't find the standard vinyl seat too bad over 700km but the sheepskin will make it even better.

They have different cuts mate. There are universal cut ones and special cuts for each type of seat. The expensive ones are the ones they specifically cut for the seat. They also sell seconds which might have slight imperfections but nothing noticeable. The ones I have on my bikes are from memory from each of the stores I told you about. I paid under $200 for each of them though I do know that.

FYI Common Mistake I've always had them for comfort and the general protection of the seat cover itself. On my Blackbird I use one in conjunction with an Airhawk and the comfort level is amazing when on long rides.
