On my newly purchased 02 cbr600 f4i, it has an aftermarket under-tail kit. I went to go get it inspected saturday and it failed.The brake lights aren't DOT certififed, according to what the lady told me @ the station. She told me if the lens said DOT or SAE on them they would of passed. I dont really want to buy another under-tail kit as I like mine, however I want to pass inspection..

What should i do?

 

Put all your OEM stuff back on get it inspected then put the otherone back on.

 

buy new one and toss it on for the inspection, or go to a bike shop and get it done their, the guy who inspected myne didnt even look that hard, yep they work lol
