after market seat.

i have a 99 600 f4. i wanna change the banana seat tto a split. is that possible and with what model.

don't think so.Look and see if your subframe is welded to your mainframe

so what does it mean if it is or isn't. i hadn't had time to look yet. i suppose that makes a difference, but how much of one?

the reason that makes a difference is to change your seat you need to change your subframe too. You need a 01-03 F4i seat & subframe to make that work. I have seen that conversion before. And yes the F4 subframe unbolts it is not welded on like the earlier cbr's
