Default Single sided swingarm on 929/954rr

Has anyone ever put a single sided swingarm on their 929 or 954?I know people do it to the 900rr's and just want to know if it can be done with 929 or 954?

Do some measurements on both the 929 swingarm and the VFR800 swingarm!!! The 800's swingarm is the one you want to use since the 929 swingarm also uses the engine for pivot bolt support. The 800's is the same way. With that being said, you should only have to do measurings to figure out if the 800's swingarm will actually bolt onto the 929 and be centered for chain allignment? Then you just need to get the right spacer collars to do the "centering" of the swingarm.

I would actually like to see it cuz not too many have done this mod, but I think it has been done???

i recently asked the same question and i have seen it done but i was never sure how. all ive heard is that you need to get a vfr swing arm and fabricate your own. you need the measurements from your engine/trans case. unfortunately ive heard that it gets very expensive but its definately worth it if you got the cash
