Default 929 Ram air ducts!

I have never seen anyone else with these so I thought I'd post 'em. They're good for another 5-7 hp and it took me about 20min to install! I like the way you can't even see them unless you are really looking. I also bought some black polyehtylene screen and epoxied it in place as intake guards. My 929 breaths a lot easier with them on - it does seem like I clean the air filter a lot but it's probably cause I'm meticulous about it.

had the exact same thing on my 929 when I bought it. used elbows from a gutter system with the screen expoxied on the inside. Used dryer ducting (or something very similar, flexible metal tubing) to route to the 2 rubber tubes feeding the airbox.

Rubbed the forks and rattled badly. I yanked em out asap.

These aren't made from gutter (although I have seen those too). These are hand laid fiberglass units and they fit perfectly. I got them from hardracing.com a few years back. I don't think they have them on the website anymore but call them or email and I'll bet they can still get them...

question:

Do you still have the hardware for the inner fairings that you took out to mount these?

I found my inner fairings (in a bag, just bought the bike 2 weeks ago) but no hardware. Could you take pics of the hardware? Or could I buy the hardware from ya?

Let me look around for the plastics - I'll let you know if I can find them...
