Oh man 94 CBR into 08 GP Mod
I took my carbon fiber tail section and cut it strategically, as well as unnecessary bits of the sub-frame.
It looks about as close to a 07-08 Yamaha GP 800...(body wise) as you an get a 94 CBR.
Tail kicked way the hell up in the air using saddle clamps, etc.
I'll post some pics soon as I can...tired.

Ok...this is a pic of my bike and it's maybe 40 percent complete.
The problem I had/have with the 94 CBR 600 is:
1. The seating was too close to the bars and tank for a guy who is 5'10.
Since 1994 the big 4 have actually started making the bikes for the American market that...wow...surprise...fits the average
American body.
(What a concept! *rolls eyes with great and angry sarcasm,, so sarcastic they might melt metal*)
We are not all 4'10 jockey sized guys and gals over here in the great U.S. (Duh!)
2. Compared to a GP bike...or even some of the very latest models, (like the 06-07 R6 or R1)...the rear end of the CBR is too low.
Not aggresive enough.
Some guys are getting Busa's and other bikes and lowering the rear.
I like to do more than drag race and go in a straight line.
Since I have done this, the seating position feels awesome!!! I moved the seat back about 2 inches...
and also moved the handlebars
about 1 inch forward with some careful adjustments.
My arms are near full outsretched...and the bike fits me better.
3-4 inches does not sound like much...but in feel...it is like 3 feet.
I still have a lot of cutting and cleaning up to do...plus going to repaint the entire bike a dull..."powdercoated" like black...
then sling some red and electric blue in there...then race sticker up...and complete with coats of clear coat.

it will get there eventually....remember.....STICKERS ARE THE CHEAPEST WAY TO ADD HP!!!
