No its all F3 metal. I just made a couple simple brackets for the RR tail and had to cut my subframe a little and bend it up to match the lines of the tail and all worked out pretty simple

this is before i cut anything, you can see how it needs to go up to fit inside the tail

Just noticed that your shock resevoir needs a new home... I strapped mine to the subframe up and away from the chain, it's gonna get shaken up on the swingarm and the hose could get eaten by the chain it looks like...

At least strap it to your helmet lock on the passenger peg?

The bike looks killer man. I love the fact that you moded your old bike rather then getting a new one. I am not a fan of the F4i front end, but over all it's a kick *** project.

Demented,
Hi I am changing my tail section to a R1 set up including the pipes. I plan to cut the rear of my subframe to make some space for the R1 pipe, install hanger like mounts for the pipes and then reinforce the area for the passenger. I plan to make a card board mock up of the parts I will have to fabracate. I would like to know what type of metal did you use to do your tail mod and what type of welder tig or mig did you use? And other helpful info I could really use.

Man im so pumped about this. I have a 1994 F2 (basically the same), I am wondering what brackets/clips you had to buy for the tail section, and if u had to buy the F4i Stay.I have a freind who is gonna paint this for FREE. Could u make a list of the items you bought.

Man im pumped about this. Its actually not gonna cost me much more than it would to redo my original fairings.
