Hi have old CBR 600 fixing up....have most of fairing off and respraying....now my question is i not fussed on the mirrors that come with bike..and like a after market set or maybe try to get something like the newer cbr 600 type ..slim black stems...i was going to buy some from ebay..has anyone done this type of mod and does it matter where mirrors are....as long as they near enough to where the last one was?? I know i may have to alter the fairing a bit...for mirrors to fit..as they look alot smaller at base

 

I have the ones from ebay, the slim stalk ones. Yea they dont mount in the same location but what I did is took out the top most bolt to the windscreen, right above where the stock mirrors go and put them there. you dont have to modify anything, just bolt them up. These mirrors are very hard to see out of so dont expect to use the to much.

 

i have the carbon-fiber layer mirrors and they are adjustable but i had to shim some washers so the bolt wouldnt waller the inside out cuz the supplied hardware sux ;9

 

I'm running a set I got off e-bay that has integrated turn signals and I love them.
