Yes you are right, There is a guy that has done this in the past and he even posted pictures. He had to modify the air box of the F3 to make it work. I wish I could find his thread.

ok, so I was wrong about this... I finally got my 96 900rr motor and i will have to motify my f2 frame a little bit. from what I can tell so far, it'll be the lower rear mount, but i'll update this once i actually have the time to cut it. on an interesting note, the 96 900rr is 919cc, and the 94 900rrs are 899cc, so at least by getting this motor ill get and extra 20cc, as well as 300cc. another interesting fact, a completly stock f3 weighs 406lbs, a completely stock 96 900rr weighs 403lbs. I just think it's funny cause the 900rr motor is about 15lbs or so heavier than the F3 motor which would mean the F3 frame and swingarm are crap load heavier than the 900rr, and yes, for the smart one out there that wants to point this out, I know the 900rr has an aluminum frame. I just personally like the physical size of the F3. I'll start putting some pics up in a few weeks or so if anyone out there is still interested. Sorry if I mislead anyone with my previous false information. Oh yeah, Valkarie, are you able to get the rear half of an F4i race tail, and the font of a F2 tail section molded. I like the look of the f4i race tail, but I'd like to fill in the ugly gaps... let me know, and a price if you can...thanks

Norma,
Keep up the good work because I would love to see how this turns out. I want to do this mod but I live in south korea now so getting all the parts Ineed can be a task.As far as the tail I actually have that on the drawing board next. I amcurrently working my F3/R1 fairing project its going to be sweet after its painted to match my bike. I hope to have a bunch of customparts available for purchase before the next ridding season. My wife and I just had a baby girl so she takes alot of my project time which I really don't mind. I will post my progress fromnow and then.

i actually looked into doing the 900rr swap in my 94 but by the time i paid for the motor and the kehin(sp) flatside carbs and the shop to do the swap it would have costed a little over 2 grand, but cost less if you can do the fab work yourself. But on another note my curiosity has deft. been sparked as far as the turbo f3 goes,I had really never thought about a turbo 600..i mainly only see turboed Busas where i live,I think i'm gonna do alot of research on this app because i spend alot of time at the drag strip and that would deft set me apart,lol...

funny I never seen a turboed bike up in the mountains leading shyt lol. Usually they snailing it along with the stretched fat tire bikes lol.

If you like railing it, tweak the 600 and forget the rest because all that power dont really do shyt except give you reason to beat your chest and grunt.
